Army Trail Rd\, Wayne\, Illinois 60184\nNight and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again.\n1 Thessalonians 3:9\nNot so long ago we learned new ways to gather together in spirit while keeping alive the hope for a day when we would once again see one another face to face. To celebrate this hope fulfilled\, you are invited to the 2023 Fox Valley Association Fall Meeting this year\, in person.\n\nLet us gather at Little Home Church by the Wayside in Wayne\, Illinois on Saturday\, September 9th\, 2023 from 8:30am to 2:00pm\, celebrating this year’s theme\, “Rekindling Fellowship.”\n\nThe Rev. Shernell J. Edney Stilley\, Associate Conference Minister for Pastoral Transitions\, will offer the sermon and lead worship. Rev. Edney Stilley has served at the local\, conference\, and national settings of the United Church of Christ. She led the all-church summit “The Emerging Church in a Post-Pandemic World.” She has served on the UCC Mental Health Network Board. She authored the Christmas coloring book “The Light is Surely Coming\,” to benefit the UCC Pension Boards Christmas Fund.\n\nThe 2023 Fox Valley Association Fall Meeting agenda:\n\n\tRegistration 8:30am – 9:00am\n\tWelcome and Logistics\n\tOpening Worship 9:10am - 9:25am\n\tBusiness Meeting 9:25 am-10:30am\n\tBreak for 20 minutes\n\tStewardship Presentation 11:00am – 12:00pm\n\tLunch 12:00pm – 1:00pm\n\tWorship and Communion 1:00pm – 2:00 pm\n\n \n\nAdvance registration cost is $35.00 if received by September 1st and $40.00 to register at the door. Advance registration is $25 for youth\, Members-in-Discernment\, and retired clergy.\n\nRegistration includes the cost of meals. A morning continental breakfast will be provided with a variety of pastries and a gluten-free option. Lunch will be served buffet style with beef\, chicken\, and vegetable kabobs along with rice\, salad\, and dessert. It is intended to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. You will be able to denote any dietary needs during the registration process.\n\nRegistration is being done through Realm. You can pay online directly when registering (choose "Pay Now") OR you can pay by check (choose "Pay In-Person").
