DESCRIPTION: \nThe Western Association is offering two Clergy Ethics Training 201 opportunities. On Monday\, November 4\, 2019\, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at First Congregational UCC\, 2100 Bates Avenue\, Springfield\, IL 62704\, (217) 546-7170\, presented by Rev. Connie Tapp Bandy OR Tuesday\, November 12\, 2019\, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s UCC\, 119 S. Grove Street\, Kewanee\, IL 61443\, (309) 853-2216\, presented by Rev. David Kniker and Mary Newcomb\nEthics Training 201: Both of these events will cover this training\, which in addition to reviewing the “Sacred Trust” materials from the Faith Trust Institute; will also include new resources related to additional areas of interest. These sessions meet the requirements for clergy participation in a boundary training session every three years. A certificate of participation will be issued for each attendee.\nSee registration form and additional information here: Clergy Ethics Training Session\nAnother training option is by completing an online program through the Lewis Center for Church Leadership\, a program of Wesley Theological Seminary. To access information about this option\, you may go to www.lewisonlinelearning.org. At the completion of the coursework\, a certificate of completion will be sent via email and a copy should be sent to your Association office for record keeping.
